Whimsical, Wacky, Wonderful Wednesday…# 14. Why Are Some Things Deemed Undesirable Yet Still Have a Certain Appeal?

As I walked through the park last week I came across the remnants of some weeds. I have no idea what they’re called but they stuck me as kinda cool in a wacky sort of way.

It was like curly hair on top of a stalk. It would be perfect to top-off your jack-o-lantern or to stick in a vase with some greenery.

It really is rather wacky that weeds–which no one wants–could look so cool all at the same time. Makes me kind of ponder Mother Nature’s intentions. What do you think?

  1. Observation: In horticultural terms, anything that grows and we, humans,-can not eat or use for our selfish fancy – we like to declare it to be: WEED.
