Today I wanted to share my little carrot story.
Lately, (well, tbh, it’s probably been about a month), I’ve been in a bit of a funk.
It can be difficult when you get news you don’t expect, the weather remains unseasonably chilly, and you don’t let up on an expectation of self. Yeah, that’s me and apparently it’s my veggies too.
Yup, this little dude, showed up in my carrots.
See how his eyes are different sizes, and his head is pulled hard in one direction, and note the crack to him mid-section. This poor guy has been through the wringer. And I can related.
That beat up feeling keepin’ on when you don’t wanna.
Poor wee orange dude still even has a smile. That’s one part I’m finding difficult, but if the carrot can do it, so can I, right?
Yup, this little dude is a reflection of what I’ve been feeling for the last few weeks. I guess the only good thing is that I haven’t ended up in a soup and been eaten for dinner. 😂
Sometimes we need to stretch thin to keep our sense of humor. Sorry little carrot dude but you were delish!

Sorry Faye, you’re having such a hard time. I’ve been in kind of a funk also. Lots of family stuff happening and not good things.
I bought a loaf of bread and I guess it was too warm for the slicer and the bread slices all came out in the shape of a heart. So I decided to buy it anyway. It made me smile.
