Hi all. Happy Spring to you.
I just finished a book called Paper Wife by Laila Ibrahim. It was a really interesting read in some ways and others… well, I haven’t completed a review on it yet, but will soon.
I’m currently reading The Guest by B,A, Paris. The premise in this one is a couple return home from vacation to find one of their friends, a woman, has moved in to their house after leaving her husband. She is giving no indication of leaving…
We’ll see how that works out.
Here’s a book review I just completed.
This book just didn’t work for me in that it was too slow moving. It was heavy and claggy which took me out of the story.
When my mind starts to wander away from the page it’s a telltale sign that I’m either too tired to listen or the story/plot is sagging.
This book was a big hit and many loved it… So keep in mind that you can always decide for yourself.
I like to do a quick book review that doesn’t give too much away.
The thing is that reading and liking what someone wrote is so arbitrary. What I like, you may not… or you may find it triggering or stupid. You never ever know.
In doing a quick review it allows me to just give a short nod or toss. I hope you like this thinking.
Here’s a couple of others that I recently did that you may enjoy.
Have you read this one?
Tell me what you’re reading and whether you read either of these books.
Talk soon.
Thanks for stopping by. I really appreciate you being here. Make sure you follow my blog and sign up for my newsletter.
In the meantime…Stay well.
