WWW Wednesday #88 Earth Day Dreams

Yesterday was Earth Day.

Did you know the movement started in 1970–that’s 55 years ago! Wowsers! 😳

Apparently it was designed with the idea that with a specifically designated date, any teacher, anywhere, could begin a discussion on issues pertaining to the environment.

While we humans struggle to get it right, we should recognize that we’re in the arms of Earth. If mama goes… then don’t we all? 🧐

Phew… I just found myself getting a wee bit philosophical there. It’s also April… and it’s International Poetry Month.

It’s been a while… a long while actually, since I wrote a poem. Hmmm.

I might have to write one about … ugh… I have too many ideas snapping around in my head and would need to really sit down and think on that one.

Geez, I guess today is my day to simply ramble. Sorry about that. 🤓

My thoughts on Earth Day were actually inspired by a couple of pictures I took on my walks recently. Have a look and I hope you give your Mama E. a huge hug with a brand new tree 🌲🪴🌵 or something.

Enjoy the pix. Remember to make sure you’re signed up for my newsletter. It’s a good think and extremely environmentally friendly. 😎

Happy Wednesday All! 🤩

These four pix are all taken in southern British Columbia, Canada, in April 2025. No filters were used… just my phone. Enjoy this wonderful place we call home! 🌎
