Well, this quote and the kind of response it evokes is important in all facets of life… including the life of a writer.
Writing and creating, much like athletic ability, are lonely pursuits.
You have to try over and over again… to get that perfect shot, to find your voice, and to feel confident doing it.
When my book was released October 31, 2024, it felt all the work–you know, that blood, sweat, and tears–was finally out there for all to see…
Well, never did I know that wind in my sails would calm so quickly.
Without a big production/distributor behind you, it’s difficult to be seen.
I made it my business to learn marketing.
I watched carefully what worked and what didn’t….
I entered a few contests…
and today I was informed that I was a finalist for the Silver Falchion Award. Like holy moly!! 😳🤩🤯

My name is amongst some of the biggest names in the thriller genre. Humbling for sure, but it wouldn’t be there if I didn’t take the shot.
