April is Poetry Month. Here is Poem #5

A fellow blogger and poet has encouraged me to try a different type of poetry.

She wants me to write an ACROSTIC poem.

This type of poem has the first letter of each sentence spell out a word or phrase. There are several types of acrostic poems–some of which have several different phrases that end up displayed as part of the overall piece.

Here’s my attempt.
