When I was a kid, I remember my mom saying… I always thought it was sort of weird but now say it myself. Anyone else?
Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning. Red Sky and night sailors delight.

It’s pretty, isn’t it?
Do you have a traditional saying about the morning or night sky?

Thanks for stopping by and reading my post. Follow Below.
It’s definitely ‘Sailors’ at least that’s what I’ve heard. Cheers
Okay good. At least I know I remember correctly. Thx Lauren.xo
Yes, grew up with that. Red sky at night sailors delight. But the weirdest thing that our parents would say is….when it’s raining and the sun is shining at the same time they would say…the devil’s beating his wife. Where that saying came from I don’t know. Maybe I’ll Google it
Oh that is weird! I just looked it up and it seems to have German origins … never heard that one before. Thx Heather. xo
Mon never said it, but I always heard the expression as “sailors.”
Yup! On the same page! Thx. xo
