For many it’s simply a Sunday in May.
For others it’s a day of loss and sadness.
Some may find the commercialism to be too much, while still others may secretly wish for those diamond earrings.
It’s a day where kids get excited to bestow their homemade craft on mom and give hugs and kisses.
It can be a sleep-in day, or one of reflection and contemplation.
Make it your own. Do your own thing. It really is okay, not to celebrate Mother’s Day.
