I looked back on a few of my recent posts on the blog here and they all start with the same slant…

“I’m sorry it’s been so long…”

“How does time slip away so quickly?”

“Time got away from me…”

Blah. Blah. Blah.

While it’s all true, it doesn’t account for laziness, distraction and maybe whipping over to Europe for a few weeks.

Hey, what am I supposed to do? Life is crazy busy for most people.

I’m curious if you think it’ll stay busy? Me? I feel like I’m ramping up… like watch out world. I’ve been sending out my newsletters and keeping readers up on what’s going on. Are you subscribed? You can do it on the site here.

Here’s a couple of pix from Europe. Oh…. I fell in love with France and her people. What a wonderful country. We went north to Normandy and saw some of the most beautiful towns and the history 🤦🏻‍♀️ Wow! Just Wow!

L to R:Me and hubs at Eiffel Tower. Spectacular! I was actually shocked at how impressive it really is. Then cappuccino in Ruone in a church square….to the right there is a HUGE church that is so stunning. Last pic is from Honfluer (my fave spot) where Champlain sailed from to go to Quebec in the 1600’s. Magnificent.

After France we whipped down to Malta for a week which is a very ancient place with soooooo much history.

Travel is such a wonderful way to study new things and people watch. It builds ideas and plots in my crazy twisted writer brain. There was one lady in particular who really stood out to me and I think she’ll end up in a novel some time in the future.

So then we can home and I met these fine and beautiful ladies…

These are the members of the Literature Librations League. They contacted me asking me to join them for a bookclub meeting. Wow! What a great time we had. And…. they asked a really intriguing question that is going to lead to new novelette or book… I need to map it out first. So excited.

There’s a lot of announcements and stuff coming right on down the road…. walking straight into your hands… in the next two to three weeks.

Next month I’ll be flying to Montreal to present at Montreal Mystery Festival and then June, August, and the fall are super busy…. Make sure you stay in the loop.

Okay. Just wanted to touch base here. I obviously don’t do it enough, but the newsletter should fill that void.
