So–would you? Go back to high school again? Some people would say absolutely!
While for others… there’s not a snowballs chance in… well, you know. For some, high school was its own special kind of hell.
Times have also changed. There’s phones, video and attitudes that we never had growing up…
High school experiences have a weird way of sticking with us. Long after the lockers are emptied and the grad caps are tossed, certain moments can resonate for many years… if not the rest of your life. What comes to mind for you when I mention high school? Friendships?A fave teacher? The class clown in algebra? Was it the popular girls or maybe the jocks? The bully or the bullied? Embarrassing situations? The smelly kid?
Here’s a question…
If you could go back to high school for just one day, would you?

Ahhh High School?
- The place where you spend so much time as a teen… Psychologists have found that memories formed during our teens often stay especially vivid because a teens brain is still developing emotionally and socially.
- Thing like music, smells, and even old yearbook photos can trigger memories…
- But were the memories good, bad, insignificant, traumatic???
It can be a lot!
Here’s Why I’m Asking
When I was writing my latest novel Can You See Me?, I kept thinking:
High school isn’t just where we learn math or history. It’s often where we first begin figuring out who we are—and sometimes, who we pretend to be.
The characters in Can You See Me? carry hopes, insecurities, friendships, and awkward moments many of us remember. Some make good choices. Others… not so much–nope not even close!

Is a Young Adult/Crossover Thriller novel.
This book will appeal to anyone who’s spent any time in high school. Seriously. Whether you’re 18 or 55…. this book will resonate.
The main character is Lynxa.
She’s the good girl. Never gives her parents any grief, gets good grades, is labeled a loser and wants only one thing… to be seen.
Well, soon she learns that being seen isn’t all it’s cracked up to be and that once you’re seen, it’s much harder to hide.
