With no effort whatsoever-- my imagination took off. I could see everything she read. The wonderful peach tree, the hill, ladybug, the caterpillar...it was all right there in front of me. It was more than magical. It was a gift she provided without even realizing.
We need to remember how resilient and smart little kids are. They adapt much quicker and easier than adults. Talk to them about their fears. Are they mimicking you or do they have genuine concerns?
In this post I've offered up many ideas and resources that can be used. I'll list a few more at the end too. But--you need to use them and not get bogged down in the overwhelming quagmire of procrastination and complacency. You CAN and MUST move forward. You will not succeed by ignoring the task at hand--so step up and set yourself up for success.
